I have done one of these coming soon posts before and it was quite popular so I thought I would do another one and let you know what to look forward to on Sarah’s Cake Blog in the next month to 6 weeks. I do realise that on the last Coming Soon post I mentioned a lot more chatty posts than what I have actually done but I promise that these will be posted on here in the next 4-6 weeks so you don’t have much longer to wait on them. I am trying to post fewer cakes and cupcakes because my blog at the minute seems to be overrun with them I am trying to experiment with different bakes like brownies, fudge and cookies, and cheesecakes so there are a lot of them coming in the next month or so.
If there are any recipes you would like to see on my blog in the future then please do let me know even if you would just like to see more fudge recipes for example or more recipes using banana then get in contact either on the contact page on this site or send me a message on any of my social media accounts.
In no particular order
Chocolate Tray Bake
I haven’t posted a TrayBake Cake recipe since my Apple and Cinamon one last year. If you are craving something chocolatey then this is the recipe for you. This is a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and decorated with lots of sprinkles.
I really wanted to post a cheesecake recipe that was light and fresh for the summer and what could be better than a Strawberry Cheesecake? This cheesecake is filled with fresh and freeze-dried strawberries and decorated with whipped cream and fresh and freeze-dried strawberries and it is delicious!
Cookie Dough Brownies
This was something that was suggested to me by a colleague at work she loves cookie dough and brownies and wanted me to try and combine the flavours. It took me a while to decide how to combine them because brownies and cooked and cookie dough isn’t but I finally found the perfect recipe!
My boyfriend doesn’t really like cake so I made this for him. It is like a cake but it is two giant cookies sandwiched together with vanilla buttercream. The cookie is full of white, dark and milk chocolate chips and M&Ms.
Custard Cream Fudge
I have a new found love for fudge and I had a packet of spare custard creams in the kitchen so I thought why not. This is made from white chocolate, custard flavouring and heaps of custard creams.
Crunchies are one of my favourite sweets. This cheesecake is crammed full of crunchies and well as crunchie spread!
Gluten Free Vanilla Cupcakes
I made these after a request from someone on social media and I am so glad I did. I had never tried a Gluten Free Cupcake before and I don’t know what I was worried about because they taste absolutely delish!
White Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
This was a total experiment I had no idea if it was going to work but after we have had such hot weather recently I decided to give it a try. White chocolate is my absolute favourite so of course, I had to make my first ever ice cream recipe with white chocolate chips.
Some of these I said that I would post in the last Coming Soon… Post but I just haven’t gotten around to it but I promise these are at the top of my list for the next month or so.
How to: Layer Cakes
I have posted quite a lot of layered cakes. I prefer three and four layered cakes which can be quite tricky to get right. So in this blog post, I will make sure all your questions are answered to make your cakes perfect.
A day in the life of a blogger
I decided to document a typical day of running a blog. Including baking, photographing, writing a blog post.
Basics of Baking
A guide of all the basics of baking to make sure whatever you bake turns out perfect each and every time.
Tea For Two Interview
A new interview series on my blog. Each month I post one or two interviews on my blog from people who work in the baking industry. The people are either bakers/bloggers/cake decorators as long as you are in the food business you can get involved. If you would like to be considered for an interview please get in contact with me either by the contact page on this site, by email or on social media.
I have also been writing recipes for Blog Unwritten the first one of these can be found in their June Issue which is coming soon and it is Individual Strawberry Cheesecakes. I am also hoping to write some more recipes for their July and August issues.
